Hey there! We’re Rocket Proxy, and we’re all about providing fast, reliable, and private UK mobile proxies—but how did we get here? It’s been a bit of a wild ride.
We started Rocket Proxy out of frustration. The competition in the proxy world was slow, unreliable, and worst of all, not always honest.
A lot of so-called ‘private’ proxies were actually shared, which caused speed drops and IP issues. So, we decided to do things differently.
It all started with a small, homegrown proxy setup. We built everything from scratch—testing speeds in different spots, indoors and outdoors, to find the best 4G/5G signals. We even negotiated with homeowners in strong signal areas to maximize our reach.
Our journey began with a simple weatherproof box, and over time, we steadily increased speeds through various tweaks and optimizations.
We quickly upgraded to a custom 6mm plywood joinery box to minimize signal interference. This was still outdoors on a small roof. The speeds were fantastic, and our customers were thrilled.
This setup served us well for nearly a year until one day, a freak storm took out the roof of the box and destroyed the equipment, despite the box being overengineered.
At that point, we were already planning to move into a new office, so while it was bad luck, the timing was right. We’d been testing speeds at other residential homes and office spaces, but nothing matched what we needed—until we accidentally stumbled upon the office we’re in now. We noticed insane speeds, even indoors by the window, and knew this was the perfect spot.
The office wasn’t chosen first—the speed was! Now, we’ve moved everything here, and we’re up and running better than ever.
Thanks to the incredible support from our customers, we’ve grown stronger every day. The demand for reliable and fast proxies pushed us to continually improve, and it’s this success that allowed us to secure this new office and deliver even better services.
